Diploma in Architecture
three-year duration diploma level course that focuses on basic concepts of designing a building, layout designing and planning.
Eligibility :
candidates need to complete their 10th standard from a recognized educational board or council with a minimum aggregate score of 55%.
Admissions are mostly done on the basis of merit i.e. percentage obtained at 10th.
But, Few colleges also conduct Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to this course.

Scope

BArch (Bachelor of Architecture)
It is an undergraduate degree in the field of architecture.
Term : five-year full-time programme
Eligibility :
candidates who have passed in 10+2 scheme of examination with PCM subjects and have secured 50% marks in aggregate
or pass in 10th along with 3yr Diploma from a recognized college (any stream), with 50% aggregate marks.
and Candidates who have qualified the aptitude test i.e. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or JEE, Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) etc.

It is an postgraduate degree in the field of architecture.

Eligibility :
M Arch Admission process takes place through entrance Exams such GATE, CEED, MAH MArch CET etc. Students need to complete B Arch with minimum 50% marks in order to apply for M Arch entrance Exams.

The applicant for admission to Ph.D. programme shall possess the following qualification.

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent and Master’s degree in architecture/allied specialization or equivalent from any recognized institution.

Bachelors Degree in architecture or equivalent in first class with ten years experience in teaching/research/professional practice.
All the candidates shall successfully complete a ‘Research Methodology’ course and one optional course prescribed for the programme or any two courses specified and recommended by the institutional Research Committee. A candidate having only a B.Arch. Degree shall, in addition, be required to pursue the course work successfully in six subjects of the Master’s Degree courses of the School recommended by the Research Committee.
On completion of the Ph.D. thesis, the candidate, apart from submitting necessary number of copies in the prescribed format as per the regulation/guideline of the respective university, must also submit a hard copy to the Council of Architecture and a CD, within three months of declaration of result of the thesis examination.
