Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
As per National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) it is mandatory for all teachers to have a B.Ed course.
This course if for the candidates who wish to pursue a career in the educational sector of the country.
B.Ed is a graduate degree program which prepares candidates to teach at the secondary level.
Eligibility : completed their graduation { from any stream (Arts, Science and Commerce) are eligible }. Clearance of certain Entrance exams are also required in some colleges.
Duration : 2-4 Years
Entrance Exams : DU B.Ed Entrance, MAH B.ED CET, RIE CEE, etc.
According to the New Education Policy 1 year B.Ed Course will be offered to the candidates who have completed their Master Level Course in the relevant stream (for the PG candidates to reduce the overall duration of Education).
Master of Education (M.Ed)
Eligibility : minimum eligibility for admission to the course is that the candidates must pass either B.Ed, B.El.Ed. BA. B.Ed, BSc.B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a minimum percentage of 50-60% and qualify the entrance examination.
Duration : 2 Years
Ph.D (Education)
qualification required for this course is at least M.Ed, MSc or MA in education with a preceding B.Ed degree or a 4 years integrated teachers program.
The Doctorate in Philosophy (Education) is a research based course whose duration ranges between a minimum period of 3 years to a maximum period of 6 years.
The admission is done on the basis of an entrance test, followed by a round of personal interview.

Master of Philosophy Education
Bachelor of Elementary Education [B.El.Ed]
It is a full-time undergraduate degree program.
Eligibility : completed their 10+2 from a recognized board. (secure a minimum of 40-50 %). Clearance of certain Entrance exams are also required in some colleges. or holding Hold two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Duration : four years
Scope : Primary Teacher, Content Reviewer, Career Counsellor, Associate Education Developer etc.
Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
Diploma course in Elementary Education to train teachers for the primary level.
Eligibility : completed their 10+2 from a recognized board. (secure a minimum of 40-50 %). Clearance of certain Entrance exams are also required in some colleges.
Duration : 2-year full-time diploma course

Bachelor of Physical Education [B.P.Ed]
undergraduate degree program in the domain of sports and fitness.
Eligibility : completed their 10+2 from a recognized board. (secure a minimum of 40-50 %). Clearance of certain Entrance exams are also required in some colleges.
Duration : 3 to 4 years. Clearance of certain Entrance exams are also required in some colleges.
Entrance Exams : BHU UET, ITM NEST, LPUNEST etc.
Scope : A physical education teacher, sports trainer, personal trainer, gym trainer, soft skill trainer, yoga trainer, coach commentator, sports journalist, fitness in charge, etc.
Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education
full-time undergraduate course in the domain of sports and fitness.
Eligibility : completed their 10+2 from a recognized board. (secure a minimum of 40-50 %). Clearance of certain Entrance exams are also required in some colleges.

Master’s in Physical Education (M.P.Ed)
2-year post-graduation degree program. eligibility criteria : have a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a similar field of education. A minimum aggregate score of at least 50% is sufficient to be admitted.
Master of Philosophy in Physical Education
It is a is a 1-2 year course. To pursue an M.Phil (Physical Education) course you need to possess a master’s degree in physical education from a recognized board or university.
Diploma Courses
ETT (Elementary Teacher Training)
ETT is a 2 year Undergraduate Diploma course that trains the students in becoming proficient enough to be able to undertake classroom teaching in an elementary school. ETT eligibility is that students who have successfully completed their 10+2 can apply for this course.

NTT (Nursery Teacher Training)
Diploma in Nursery Teacher Training, or short form for NTT is a 1 year diploma course. The main focus of the program is to cater to the training of the nursery (pre-primary) level teacher workforce in India. The minimum eligibility criteria for the program is that the candidates are required to pass the 12th or equivalent examination in any stream with 50% marks.

JBT (Junior Basic Training)
Demand for skilled graduates is rising to develop awareness in English, Education, and Child Psychology. The duration of JBT is two years. JBT graduates can cater to the present lifestyle of changing educational scenarios.A diploma in Junior Basic Training is conferred at the end of the course.
